I've finally got my turbolift mod working! It's really funny actually. The problem was that my original copy of EF was corrupt for multiplayer, well it turns out that it's also corrupt for single player. I was working on my hazsucks mod when I discovered this. So expect the next version of the turbolift mod soon on effiles! Deck 15 is now accessible via turbolift!

Also, my hazsucks mod isn't finished either. There will be at least one more update, maybe two. More on that later.

Ok, maybe it's more ironic than funny.

LOL, I came to check the forums, and didnt notice any new posts. Then, when I came to say something here, THEN I notice the double post.

So the double post never made everyone see it lol.

EDIT: <<<<Not double post Wink I thought that you'd modified it so that it took you to the Deck 15 turbolift, not the transporter site. Oh well, theres an idea for version 3, modify the map to take you to the turbolift. Also, why are the maps for every deck included??????????

What? It does take you to the Deck 15 turbolift.

Maps for every deck are included because I had to add tour_turbo_15 triggers.

Well I always get taken to the transport point when I use it.

I have a theory on that. I think I need to specify which spawnpoint in my triggers. Ugh. That will take a lot of time.

Yep it does that, and yes you DO need to specify the spawnpoint What ever!

It would have been big news if it was working correctly.

And it's big news to me because this opens up the way for me to start doing other things. I wanted to make sure all my future work was compatible with this.

BTW: compiling the fixed version right now.

Argh, double-posting again.

Alright, I fixed the spawn point and recompiled everything, but now the the game crashes when you try to go to deck 15. Looks like no update for a while. :-(

I compile the maps while I'm taking a break from homework. It doesn't take that long to compile a map.

BTW: Got it working now. Cool! Tried a simpler approach and it tests ok.

Now that that's done, I can really get into map modding.
