Well tomorrow I'll be heading off for a good 2 weeks of relaxation. Nothing to do except sit and read by the river (and possibly a bit of go-kart racing heh heh). So I'll 'see' you all when I get back sometime in the last week of January.

That sort of weather is quite unsual around here. It rarely goes below zero here, and when it does it's only for a few days.

Actually, this year it happened to go below zero for at least a week (not the whole time; just below zero at least once in a day for a week) and yes we got a few pacific "rifts" as i call them and it just comes in. It's supposed to rain for the whole week AND get up to 10C!!! I think they said that was a record. On Sunday on the Weather Network (TV) They said that January 11 (that Sunday) Vancouver (which is basically where we live; at least in the area) was the warmest place in Canada on that day of this year. Coldest place was i think in Ontario with like -43.8C? thats no spelling mistake. it was about -43C in some city near the Hudson Bay... Which explains why it was so cold. Even they broke an all time record.

Wow, didn't know I was so close. I think Iwas about 100 miles from Vancouver. About 20 miles from the border anyway.
