Version 2.0 is in the works. I just figured out how to fix what I thought was an instability bug (turned out I forgot to modify a few SKIN files, LOL). I'm getting really close to annihilating the hazard uniform from the game. Simmo is working on getting rid of the gloved hands thanks to TDP's weapon textures (and thanks to TDP for letting me use them finally). Model animation problems will still exist unfortunately, because most of the hazard suit animations don't exist, and they can't be added without cooperation from Raven which unfortunately won't happen because of the lawsuit (Tim Oliver found that out while working on RPG-X mod).

Sounding great. Too bad about the animations though. *cough* Release estimate *cough* Grin. What are the improvements over the last version going to be?

I can't give a release estimate because I don't know how much work Simmo has to do right now. As for improvements, in addition to what I've already mentioned, I've modified the dialog from the first Voyager level to get rid of Janeway's referencee to hazard suits.

w00t!

Thanks to TiM and the guys at Raven, all the model problems will be fixed! TiM was able to transfer all the hazard and hazardfemale model animations to the crewthin and crewfemale models respectively. After that it'll just be a matter of waiting for Simmo to do those additional weapon textures...

Cool! That's great guys! The Hazsucks mod is really cool becuase quite frankly the Hazard Suits do suck! I can't wait for 2.0 to be released.
I'm on medication now. I have condition called 'Hunteritise' which is when ever I see a Phoenix, I leap on it's back, rip its skull right out of its head and beat it to death with it!

I tested out the models in the mod just now, and they look great! It's good to see the characters animating properly again.

This being the somewhat official Hazsucks thread, here's the current status:

What's been done so far:
- All Hazard team members wear Voyager uniforms
- Tuvok and Seven keep their regular cloths on away missions
- Hazard team biographies headshots show voyager uniforms
- Janeway no longer refers to Munro wearing a hazard suit
- Munro model in the Configure menu now wears a Voyager uniform
- Munro model in game now wears a Voyager uniform
- Phaser, phaser rifle, scavenger rifle, statis weapon, and grenade launcher no longer have gloved hand
- Hazard suit animations imported into Voyager uniform models

What still needs to be done:
- I-mod, Arc welder, and Tricorder still need to have the glove removed from the hand
- Borgified models need to have hazard suit removed
- Need an EVA suit model so that Hazard team doesn't fly around space with their normal uniforms
- Some sequences should be rescripted to remove certain bolt-ons

Are you able to convert the EVA suits from EF2 to md3 without being up for a law suit? Cause they are pretty good. You'd have to retexture the lower torso though - its textured to look like the hazard suit legs.

Using EF2 assets in EF is illegal.
