Well it seems Viacom/Paramount and Activision have finally settled their lawsuits. I just found out on the Ritualistic site.

Quote:
As noted in this Yahoo story (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=575&ncid=738&e=7&u=/nm/20050311/wr_nm/media_activision_dc), both Activision and Viacom have settled their legal squabble over the Star Trek franchise and video games based on it:
Both sides said all pending lawsuits related to the dispute have now been dismissed. Other terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
Activision sued Viacom shortly after the release of Star Trek Elite Force II, charging that Viacom allowed the Trek franchise to stagnate by not producing new movies and television shows. Viacom counter-sued, claiming Activision was merely trying to renegotiate the terms of the license agreement.

Your defensive capabilities are no match for us. Your culture will adapt to service ours.
Resistance is and always has been... Futile.

Yea good news at last. There is that Online StarTrek game in the works http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/startrekonline/index.html?q=Star+Trek

Which sounds kewl but the only problem is that you got to pay a monthly fee to play so you got to buy the game pay the internet bill and pay to play it as well. This is what i think they should do is instead of charging 30 for a game i wouldnt mind paying 50 for it (only online line games at that price) to cother the server chrges i think they would get more people buying there games

It'll be roughly the same as current MMO's.
