My dad watched the origional series when he was a kid so he obviously introduced me to it. I've been watching trek since the first ep of TNG. Don't let this fool you though, I like trek, but not enough to go to a convention dressed as a klingon or somthing along those lines.

Well, I was born in '87, same time as TNG started, so I guess I was born into it Wink

I started in about 1999, so not long. I went to a small star trek federation science thing, but no big conventions. Any of you have a uniform?

Wow, I didn't realize that TNG started in '87. I can't believe I can remember watching the first ep. when it first aired since I was only 4 years old.

I recall watching an episode or two during the first season of TNG, but it wasn't until the StarTrek exhibit came to the local science center that I got hooked on Trek. IIRC that was during the 5th or 6th season of TNG.

I don't like TOS, TAS, or DS9, but VOY was good more often that not. TNG is definitely my favorite. I don't like the TNG movies (Generations was ok until the ship exploded). I haven't seen the TOS movies except for Voyage Home, which was ok, so I can't really comment on that.

My favorite thing from StarTrek was the upgraded Enterprise-D bridge in Generations.

I seriously can't remember how long it's been but i'd guess somewhere in between 1993 -1996 is when i saw my 1st TNG episode. But I like VOY, TNG, DS9, and a little ENT. TOS is just not "techie" enough.
