How come you have to register to get an active user name on every forum is that you can get our Email adress and get monet from us LOL only joking about that.

But i am curious on why we do register the only solution i think is that to see how many people come here but im all ways worried that when i do register things im spending more money or is it me being stupid

It's you being stupid Na na! j/k

I guess you register so the owners can know how many people are interested enough that they will register and so the whole thing can be more organised.

I think it is because they want to know who posts at their forums

I hate those watched topics e-mails. I come here enough that they are just annoying.

Mine just go to hotmail and are filtered out as junk mail. So are the private message notifications and I think any other automatically generated emails. So I never have to worry about it. I think I disabled junk mail just before Vanhal sent out the "your account will be closed" messages, so its nothing to worry about.

Yeah, but when you're offline overnight, and then go back online like 15 hours later, you'd get about 50 emails, for every reply. Especially last night, when Flix posted a lot.

An admin asking for help, you dont often see that.

Right, go to profile.
Scroll down till you see this:

Quote:
Always notify me of replies:
Sends an email when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post

Turn it into "No"

That's it.

you can stop watching a topic by scrolling to the bottom of the topic and clicking on "stop watching this topic". if anyone wants to know
I am sure that many people know how to do that, you can set it when you create a new account and when you want to edit your profile.

Oh, now I read it again and it makes sense. You asked them if they were aware that you could turn it off. Now I get it. Damn.

EDIT: Carlos, you can change it any time, not just in a new account.
