What message board service supplies this board? I want to have a message board just like this!
Make it so.

the board service is

phpbb
www.phpbb.com

also does anyone think I should start a forum on my site (phpbb forum)
is it free, if not, how much does it cost
how much space does it take
how much programming does it need
what topics should I use
for me to start one I would need a full rank list and post amounts emailed to me because I would want to use the same ranks and post amounts
is there a hosting site where I can have 1 GB of space for free, and lots of bandwidth.

That's up to you.

Yes.
carlos_technology said:

Depends on how many messages there are.
carlos_technology said:

Not much, but it does take some knowledge.

Anything. You can always add more later.

Nice try. Dobberman is smarter than that. As for ranks:
Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Vice Admiral
Rear Admiral
Commodore
Fleet Captain
Captain
Commander
Lieutenant Commander
Lieutenant
Lieutenant JG
Ensign
Cadet 4th Year
Cadet 3rd Year
Cadet 2nd Year
Cadet 1st Year

Such sites do exist, but never for very long. They last maybe a few months, and then die because they aren't making enough money. They are hard to find. Try http://www.webhostingtalk.com.

I dont think I could cope going to another forum, especially when the only people who I'd expect to go there would go here, I'd be talking to the same people so there'd be no point (and you might take people completely away from here and then Vanhal would be mad.)

I got these forums for my new site.

I have a question what program can i use to edit the forums.

And how much space do they take up.

How do you want to edit the forums? You can modify PHP files in Notepad. The database is accessed from phpMyAdmin.

The amount of space they take up depends on how many messages have been posted.

or hackman (also a hex editor)

You'll also need hosting that has MySQL support, (which I'm pretty sure 50megs doesn't have). I think I heard somewhere that Geocities has it? But I don't know how much I believe that.
No matter what I choose, no matter how much I buy, the ones I love will always be the ones who pay. Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words, "with great parents comes great reliability." This is my gift; their purse. Who am I? I'm Dobberman.
