There are far too many races to be included in a poll, so I'll just have everyone post their favourite race here.

Mine are the Kazon.

I'd have to say the borg, they are the coolest race, though very overused.

Yeah, Voyager really killed the borg (pardon the pun). The borg were used in Voyager FAR too often. I'd go with Klingons, Qa'Pla!

They killed them literally in Endgame and they used them in their eps. so much that they "killed" the theme.

Yeah, I like the Klingons, but the Kazon, with their unpredictability and primitive ways, are really cool.

Thx guys! Smile

LOL, sorry about the size, I have no clue how to make it smaller, when I use it on our boards it automatically shrinks it, but it didn't here and I can't find an option to do that. I'll keep looking though, lol.

And our goddesses are probably slightly displeased with me right now, lol, as soon as they see this joke I posted HERE, lol, so I'm gonna have to do some major sucking up to them. But I thought it was funny enough to warrant the displeasure of the goddesses. Grin

Oh that's a thought, lol. Jeepers, I'm spending too much time out in the sun lately, gym class on the football field with not a cloud in the sky and deadly warm sun, can't think anymore. Smile It's the pic itself that's that big, lol, as our forums shrink it. I can get it shrunk as soon as I get home to my computer with the graphics programs, I'm stuck at school right now. Smile

Thanks for clueing me in Scooter, lol. Grin

It's hosted in my ftp at www.wedrinktequila.com/~rk/whatever, and was that big to start with, it just got jammed in here like that cuz I forgot how big it was, lol. And it's getting to be about 40-45 or so Celsius here. It was still snowing in May, and the last time we had a May that cold in Alberta's history, it was immediately followed by the hottest summer in Alberta's history. It's staying true, lol. It's hard to think now, especially through Bio class. Grrrr....bio class...... LOL

Ok, you have a right to complain about the heat, it's a little hotter here but usually about that, although we are going through the worst drought we've ever had. I only mention it cause I hear people complaining all the time about it being 32 C out! (not used to talking in degrees C, had to convert it to F to understand Na na! ).

As for your avatar, what I was asking was not WHY it is so big, but how you got this forum to accept it that big. The avatar that I have is as big as I was allowed by the forum. How did you get yours past that?

(Dobberman, you can answer and maybe, well, umm...*hint hint* Wink )

Last year Alberta had a really bad drought. All the grass was brown. It looked like a wasteland. Entire areas would start burning because the sun was so hot and the grass was so dry. Several firehouses transferred their firefighters and trucks to Alberta temporarily because they didn't have enough men to fight the large fires. Someone told me it's brown there again, is that right RK?

The worst is in Ontario. It's not 40 degrees, but it gets so humid that it feels like 40 degrees. Almost everybody out there as air conditioning. I wish I had air conditioning. We never had hot summers like this until a few years ago, so most houses here in British Columbia don't have air conditioning.

Well, everythings not dying by the masses, lol, it's all still healthy kinda green. We've got occasional rainstorms right now, so it gets kinda wet. LOL, ask me again at the end of July or so, we'll see how much nature is dead then. Happy

And I have no idea why mine got so big, I just told it to link to my FTP and it did. Maybe only the ones copied over to this forum's FTP get shrunk?

Well, the writing looks a bit....... faded and dull. Does anyone know how to save as a jpeg without it losing quality - they did it for EF, look at the textures for the faces and stuff.

I started a new topic about favorite cars

if we have to guess what his avatar is now, it is a picture of a medical/science officers rank (specifically the rank of commander)(picture is at simmos site)
if you are referring to what his avatar was before, it was an overhead view of his house.
and the in-game rank looks better in the sig

That's not where I got it, it's where I put it! That's a link to my server. I got the original picture from http://www.stinsv.com

LOL Carlos.

I made the avatar.gif file myself in Paint Shop Pro. It is transparent, so it doesn't look daft on different background colors.

The insignia in the center of the wreath is found on the windows in sickbay on Enterprise-D. It's a universally accepted logo. You can find it in other places besides StarTrek.

Kamakazie, in your profile, there is a dot after the USS in your sig. That was a mistake in what I told you to put. Sorry, you should correct that.

That line would read.

I can't remember exactly, but you can see it all over the place. In real life too, not just on the tele.

You see them most often in pharmacies

Yes, that is the universal symbol for medical-related stuff. Doctors, medicine, and on things relating to personal health that would be important in an emergency, such as a MedicAlert bracelet. It's mostly seen as a pair of snakes wrapped around the cross-shaped object in the center.

Do you know how long ago they started using it. Usually I thought everyone just used that first aid cross as the medical symbol.

Im sure they started using it in the stone age or later (or maybe the dark ages), but it wasn't really advanced
