05 June, 2002 - Delayed Due To Exams

Sorry guys, but my state exams begin tomorrow and will last for two weeks. So work on the mod has ceased until then, but don't worry, I will start work again as soon as it is over and it's release will be swift. Thanks for your patience.

Well, I would guess you wouldn't have exams on Saturday, so does this mean we should expect a release this weekend?? You said swift, do that is what I would assume.

I "pm"ed Dobberman a while ago, and he says just one more exam to go, but thus far he hasn't had time to work on Virtual Enterprise. He didn't say what day the last exam was, though.

Nope. For me, "study" is glancing at your notes 1 minute before the test. J/K. LOL! Yeah, I study a bunch too. What i guess I really want to know is when you finish your exams completely. To quote Scooter:

yes, I hated exams (means that I don't have to go to school anymore)

I hope that there is a release by the end of the month

so, what exams are you taking (eg. science, math, technology, art, history)

so, what grade is everyone in

(you see lots of ideas, not just 1 idea)

Well, these are the second majorest exams you can get in High School in Ireland. So, really important. I'm in 3rd year now, going in 5th year after my last exam. (Which is Wednesday)

You are in 3rd year going into 5th year?

We have exams EVERY YEAR as progress ones, with major exams in year 9 (SATs) <-- 3rd year of secondary school and in Year 11 (GCSE's) <-- 5th year in secondary school.

We have exams every year too, but these ones are the major ones, the state exams. 4th year is optional, and the next state exams are in 6th year, the last year in school, so I only have 2 years left.

No the exams every year aren't major ones, we don't have mocks for them or anything, they are just summer tests that you have before the end of the year, they don't really matter.

But these exams are major exams and I did have mocks for them.

The number of high school grades varies from province to province and from school to school. Some people go to an elementary school and then a high school, while other go to an primary school, a middle school, and then a secondary school.

Where I went to school, only the high school grades have exams. Everybody writes the midterms, but you can get exempt from the finals unless they are government exams in grade 12. The kid across the street goes to the top school around here, and he has exams in every grade. If he fails an exam he gets expelled. (That's how they stay the top school. Get rid of the slow learners.)

Well, my major is electrical engineering, so it's looking more like 5-6 years of college.
