What the... when I first read this I thought that it would just be about that old one where it said 21 was the most users. It must do it when they do maintenance, like when Vanhal did that thing yesterday making it say Today and Yesterday. The most I've ever seen was 10 last Thursday. True.

I doubt we'll beat 138 users ever.

The most I've seen is 12 at once. It would be good to break the 21-user record, but not by mucking around in the database.

about 3 users and 100 guests. I saw it when it actually happened, it was weird, me and Vanhal were talking about it.

Were the 138 IPs the different IPs of PHPBB machines that it looks for stuff on?

And it's amazing that it happens in that 5 minute period where we cant see it. So it wouldnt show us it, so how would you see it, or were there 138 different IPs active over 5 minutes, that was different settings being changed. Stop messing on, do it for real.

And were you and Vanhal talking about how you can trick us? See how long it would take us to notice that you'd changed it? Or talking about why it does that even there werent 138 guests online and that 138 IPs were of PHPBB machines or something. Dont lie to me, I know where you live, Vanhal told me exactly where it was in a PM once.

No, there really were that many guests. And Carlos, those weren't the exact figures, I said ABOUT! We were wondering when you would notice, cause it was at like 120 and made its way up

the count was 3 registered users (me dobberman and scooter(i think)) and 135 guests all with different ip addresses that had nothing to do with the hosting. it was at around 50 for a while and then went to 124 as a highest then droped and then went up to 138.

And simmo that sounds very like abuse to an admin, both me and dobberman know that i didn't send his address to youy in a pm, hell i don't even know his address.

What do you mean? A leprichaun made 138 guests.
Or LeprichaunTrekker was here?

I was here at 7.16 anyway. I posted 6 minutes earlier.

I would have noticed it so high.

Remember, I said I have a very keen eye. I noticed straight away it had changed to "Today" and "Yesterday" in them boxes.

There are 46 guests on right now. Why are they here? Where do they come from? If one of them can read this, please say something.

Maybe we should invite all these guests to the virtual game - we could have a whole galaxy class LOL!

What a coincidence that we were all talking about it at this time too. Hmm. I suspect witchcraft.

Ok, I believe there were 138 people online, I'm sorry for doubting you, but I don't know why they would suddenly come here all at once.

Maybe there is something wrong with the space-time continuum and it is registering our ips for the next four weeks.

No, no, anyone who wants to randomize their IP would be running Linux.

Linux is a Unix-based, open-source operating system. There are many different flavors available. All computer gurus use it, as well as hackers, because it is 100% stable (unlike anything Microsoft can make), much more secure, and allows you to do much more than possible under Windows.

No. Linux comes with it's own programs. Most Windows programs are not available for Linux, although expert users can make them work somehow. The whole point of Linux is that it is open-source, and so are all the programs that run on it. Linux users consider Microsoft to be evil.

I don't know, check the bottom of the box. If it doesn't work on linux natively, it can probably be made to run on linux. I think you can get emulators for linux that allow you to run windows programs.

I've heard of a linux dedicated server for EF so I think there is a version for it.
