Trouble with Deck 4 and 10

Ok, here is the deal with a test of deck 10 I done with simmon666. He told me that there is a door and when it opens it looks like the bit where you fall and fall and fall but when you WALK through it it is the shuttle bay like it is meant to be. The same effect happens on deck 4 how can I8 top this from happening?

what is the bit where you fall and fall and fall

maybe it is a texture error or a compiling error

Do you have any hint brushes or area_portal brushes in there by any chance?

Yes, but we're not talking about Dobberman's mod. He's not making it. What does it matter if he's making VE. All that matters is he has mapping experience and could suggest what the problem is, and how to solve it. Ensign Kim will never learn how to avoid it or solve it himself if Dobberman fixes it, will he?

I dont know what to do with area portal or how to put them in can you please tell me how they work (that means no i dont have anything betwwen rooms)

Hmm, well, I'm not exactly sure which one is which lol, but it doesn't matter. If you don't have one of them, then that's not the problem, it could be an Evil Poly. You should get the Purge Evil Poly's plugin for efradient and it will get rid of them.

An evil poly is a polygon that stretchs out to infinity, they are usually infinitly small so its hard to see them, they can cause all sorts of problems in game and while compiling. You need to use the plugin to delete them.
