Trouble with decks 5 and 8

I managed to get the GDK installed properly, so I decided to try something simple before I start mapping from scratch. I'm trying to remove the forcefields on decks 5 and 8. I shift-click the forcefield and shift-click the speaker, then I click Selection, Delete and they go away. Compile the map and run it. The forcefield is gone, but I can still hear it. I also add triggers and speakers to the doors behind the forcefields for the chime, and they don't work either. Starbase 5 and I have both been working on it, but can't figure it out. I removed the forcefield on deck 11 with no trouble, and the door chime was already there. Very confusing. Has anybody else encountered this?

maybe you should look for something that emits sound that is around the forcefield

You think I haven't thought of that? I deleted the forcefield speakers and checked all the other ones on the whole map. There is forcefield sound coming out of non-existant speakers and no sound coming out of the doorchime speakers that I added. The original doorchime speakers work just fine.

maybe you haven't completely removed the speakers and the forcefield

Hmm, maybe the sound wasn't removed during compile, trying do an bsp_entities compile and see if that helps.

Maybe it comes out of another piece of wall. But hey, I too have no idea what is going on.
