My favorite was probably VOY, but ENT is moving up the ranks.

I don't know. I think there might have been but I am not sure. If there was, we are just reviving the poll.

ENT is almost is in my view, better than VOY, but the season finale knocked it down some. But it still is right on VOY's tail.

Voy is the best but enterprise is a close second.

I hate the fact that enterprise has all the technologies that they have 200 years later though!!!

Well, I guess the producers wanted to remind the fans that the Star Trek Universe didn't always have those gadgets.

yes it was a small ship, I estimate it to be the same size as a nova class ship

nova - 8 decks - 165 m
dauntless - 7 decks - 180 m

it is a cartoon version of Star Trek The Original Series, with an earlier form of a holodeck and an extra turbolift added to the bridge

For me it stays TNG.

TOS: Don't know, isn't my generation I guess (I'm 26). Never really was touched by this part of Star Trek.

TNG: Star Trek, transporting Gene's vision of our future, lots of Style, unusual stories for a commercial US show (was getting away with the later seasons) and - most of all - great characters and actors, who fell in love with their shows characters and Genes vision of the future.

DS9: Star Trek with great Storys and Charakters, but without peacefull vision - too violent (Gene's vision compromised to get the storytelling easier). The actors were taking their characters as work to get paid.

VOY: Star Trek as commercial Entertainment by storytelling, slick characters that can fit into any storyline. The actors were taking their characters as work to get paid.

ENT: Star Trek as commercial Entertainment by storytelling, trying to get closer to our times (to make it easier for the audience to feel "close" to the characters and easier to write stories because the character behaviours aren't so futuristic-abstract anymore), with some odd childish sexual scenes - and also slick characters to fit them easier into any storyline. For the actors it's a great step into a successfull franchise and a good opportunity to get some money out of this.

The big difference between (the early) TNG and the other shows is, that the show was first a artistic work of Gene to transport his vision of our future (how it should be). The characters were created to transport that vision. Later in TNG and all the following shows are mostly developed to tell (commercial successfull) stories in a stable universe created around them.

That's why I stay with TNG as best Trek Show. It had a vision that the others lacked. Star Trek is now my favourite entertainment show, but that's all. I don't feel "close" to it anymore as I felt with the early TNG show.

Okay, just my 2 cents here... B-)

My favourite would have to be Voyager. It was the series with the most 'indivuality' in it. Plus the borg are in it the most Rock! (go borg!)
I'm on medication now. I have condition called 'Hunteritise' which is when ever I see a Phoenix, I leap on it's back, rip its skull right out of its head and beat it to death with it!
