Well I just got deus ex a few days ago, I hafta say it's one of the best singleplayer experiences ever, well worth the money like Elite Force was.
So who here has it or played it, and what did you think about it?
Apparently there's gonna be a Deus Ex Movie, Lets hope it's as good on the big screen as it was on PC.

I've never heard of that game either but I think Never Winter Nights is the best game ever. That's why it's over $80 at Future Shop.

It's not all action. It's goes alot on stealth, paitence and a strong story. It's also one of the longest games I've ever played. Wink

I downloaded the demo and got to the part of when i get to my office. I started redecorating went down to the lab got some equipment, a trophy, an equipment table, some plants, a chair, etc. It actually was fun! then once i got on the boat the demo was over. I was hoping to get more items to bring back to the office. I also brought an unconsious guy from our side to the medical room, took a while but i got him there (didn't actually heal him though)

Cheats ruin Dues Ex in my opinion, like they do for every other game.
If a part is too hard to do, try a different approach, unlike other games there are many ways to approach a situlation in Deus Ex, That Bot senario in the last part of Training is a perfect example, ok You can destrol the bot by using the TNT, and firing the gun to detonate the TNT from a safe distance, or you can sneak pass the bot, that level is also testing ya on ya ability to find items in deus ex that can make life alot easier. The Statue level (1st level in the game and demo level) is also another good example, You can sneak ur way in without killing anyone, or u can go in with all guns blazing killing everyone in sight, or u can hack computer terminals to turn NSF security against the NSF, Also there's the little rewards for doin extra objectives such as rescueing gunther Hermann. also you have choices, to open the front door of the statue you can get the key off Filben, or just hack ur way in, or sneak in from the back, or create a disturbance that makes the guards open the door, and also what you do in one level can affect how another level is seen and played out. Like I said, it's a great game, Happy

But then whats the point of playing the game if u intend to cheat ur way through it?
It takes all the fun out of the game, if u wanna game where ur nearly like the terminator and u chew down ppl with a big Gun where it don't matter u cheat or not, play serious sam. but this game ya don't cheat, otherwise there is no point playing it, that goes for every other game, U wanna game u can fly through go play serious sam or doom or quake.
Damn cheats ruin singleplayer games and Multiplayer!

I did'nt say u use multiplayer cheats, As I noticed u meant single player cheating, so why don't u finish the games without cheating, then u'll see how good the game actually is,dude I used to do that, buy a game and cheat through the single player part, Felt nothing after I completed it, and it proved nothing, I did'nt finsh it, I cheated through, so what was the point of buying the game in the first place, dude games have been designed to be played through and enjoying the difficulty, testing urself, that stuff, well thats my rant.
