Hi there, TNG Freaks!

From my DVD shot sessions I took some shots from the 1701-D that can be used as wallpaper for your Desktop!

Well here an example:

there is a TNG picture at www.startrek.com thats just as good as these pics.
In other words, those screenshots look better than the TNG pictures at www.startrek.com

Really Cool pics! I might use one for my desktop. Could you do me a favour Salinga, you have season 1 on DVD right? Well, could you take a specific pic for me, I saw the episode "Lonely Among Us" recently and there was a perfect pic of this console that I can not get a good look at. Could you play the episode and take a pic of this console:

You will see it in the episode just before the engineer is shocked to death when he leans over a computer in engineering. Thanks I would be very grateful! Thanks!

I want to get a good look at the additional consoles on the starboard and port sides of the bridge, but VHS is not good enough quality, and I can't take screen captures anyways because I don't have the right equipment.

No, sorry. I only have the TNG series on DVD right now. I planned to buy Generations on DVD but this was not very rugent for me since I have both the german dubbed and the original version on tape.

So I couldn't make any better captures than you could. But even if it would help improve the mod I could give it a try. I have Generations on a good quality VHS (as far as I remember Wink so maybe some captures could give some information.

I asked Dobberman to make a small mod for his Virtual Enterprise mod that would upgrade the bridge module to the way it was in 2371. I'm trying to gather everything I can regarding the modifications to the bridge. I asked Rick Sternbach if he had any production drawings or something, but he said he didn't.

I think I have a smaller copy of that photo, but I've never seen the drawing before. Thanks Salinga, I am downloading them now.

Looks like the drawing was an early conceptual. It has some extra bits that aren't present in the final set.

One thing is on the horseshoe there are consoles at the top in the drawing but not in the real life one

Also, in the drawing there are railings on the sides, but on the set there were extra consoles on the ends. In the drawing you don't see the two chairs on either side of the set. There is no dedication plaque on the drawing, but of course we know it's there on the set. And finally, the steps in the middle area aren't as complicated on the set as in the drawing.
