I have TrueSpace5 and can you use it on EF? as when i have figured out how to use it i will start modding things with and so on hehe

(sorry if its not making sense but im tired)

I think I used to have that, I'm not sure if you can use it for ef except for recording avi video files and then converting them to binks so you can use them in ef

I had a bik converter but got rid of it so ill get it again im looking for some web sites now

I am so going to learn how to mod it looks kewl but hard work but worth it in the end Im going to by some books cos i dont want go to a modding programe class or what ever they are called so ill just stcks with books

Is there any way in EF to open the texture folders like you can do in BC to change the textures the color of a chair(etc) and add different sounds stuff like that Grin

yeah it's in the pak0.pk3.

A pk3 file is just a renamed zip file, but when dealing with them I suggest you use pakscape. Get it here:

thats soo kewl i always wanted to listen to ef intro music without having to play the game now i can thanks

now im of to try and re-texture the birdge from BC and try putting them on EF like the RedAlert pannel (etc)

If i retexture the Bridge on BC from the files out of EF and sent them to bcfiles.com would that be ok to do? and the other way around retexture the bridge (etc) on ef and take them out of BC folders?

or would people say thats not right if you no what i mean?

Is the EF intro music an mp3 in the pak0.pk3in the BaseEF directory? If so, what is it's name?

I no its the end cred but i think there same music as the intro

and to open pk3 files you need pakscape, you can get it from www.effiles.com
its in the BaseEF folder Pak0/video/intro.bik
to view bik files go to www.radgametools.com and get bink and smacker

Actually, winzip works just fine for pk3's, it's what I've been using. But thanks for the bink tools.

I still prefer to view pk3 files using pakscape, because the files are organized into folders making it easier to locate files
