Mapping - Help Needed

Ok. Here we go. Im a complete Newbie when it comes to mapping for Elite Force. I've never done it before and i do intend to start. I use GTK Radient as with EF Radient i had the texture problem. I can do basic stuff like Walls and ermm... Walls. Anyway I read one of the Tutorials on the site but all they really seemed to tell you was how to make walls and put textures on that all important wall. What i want to do is know how to make Turbo Lifts with Deck Options like on the Voyager Tour Mode so you can choose what deck you want and make proper door and place consoles and stuff. Im not a complete newbie to modding as can be seen by my GTA3 site but thats GTA3 and not Elite Force.

I am a very fast learner when it comes to this. Textures I'm fine with and Making Walls I'm Fine with (As you can tell). I would warn you though i am quite Ambitious when it comes to modding but i can get the job done. I am a massive GTA3 Modder and worked on probably the first GTA3 TC out which was Lucifer City and that took a lot of time. I am telling you this just in case some people are thinking "Oh No its another Newbie who wants a massive Explination and to waste our time and ask us for help every 5 mins" Believe me this will not happen. Just so you know. Please Can someone Help? Also anything to do with Scripting would be appreciated. From all the Helpfull things posted i'll make a massive Word Document of them all and post a massive FAQ of all the stuff thats been posted How does that sound?

Dobberman wrote a Turbolift 101 guide for one of the other members here a few months ago, but I can't find it back. Somebody will post the link here I'm sure.

Ok then Now i am really annoyed. But thanks to Dobberman i actually got my EF Radient and stuff working. but now i Have my Map in game and i open the doors and theres a Texture there Floating in the middle of NOWHERE! Any ideas on how i get rid of it?

It sounds to me like you textured a brush you weren't intending to by accident. I could be wrong, but I've had my share of troubles selecting specific brushes.

DAMN IT! I had it working then i added a tiny extra Corridor Now it isn't working again. I've tried making a new map and Its Still Not Working. I'm starting to think all this isn't worth it.
