WTF are they anyway? They're not lasers!
No matter what I choose, no matter how much I buy, the ones I love will always be the ones who pay. Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words, "with great parents comes great reliability." This is my gift; their purse. Who am I? I'm Dobberman.

Phasers are kinda stupid in the future should weapons be a lot easier to aim Na na! and should they be a little different in the way they work.

I'm pretty sure phasers stand for "Phased energy rectification" although i can't remember for sure.

I know they aren't lasers though. And theres no way we'll have anything close to them anytime soon. To make a laser you could carry around it would have to have a portable Nuclear reactor. A little expensive. And dangerous to say the least.

WRONG!

Hehe, you can have lasers that damage stuff, but with a phaser you can change the width of the beam. Laser beams are always the same width and go forever. Phaser beams have a variable width.
