Ok, I think there's enough stuff for another update. Last week, we took a look at the corridor outside the transporter control room on deck 34, which was going to be on the same map as deck 36. Dobberman was worried that it would be too complicated to implement and would slow down the frame rate in engineering, so he decided to make deck 34 a separate map.

This week, we'll take a look inside the transporter room. There was a little trouble taking a screenshot, so Dobberman has provided an older one. Keep in mind some of the textures have been redone.

Can you spot what's wrong?

Every week I ask Dobberman what's left to do? Here's a bit of a breakdown.
Deck 1 - Mapping 25% - Scripting 0%
Deck 10 - Mapping 100% - Scripting 25%
Deck 34 - Mapping 75% - Scripting 10%
Deck 36 - Mapping 100% - Scripting 100%

The transporter platform looks a tad small, perhaps it's just the viewpoint.

Scooter, do you mean that, for instance, on deck 1 there's still 25% of mapping and 0% of scripting LEFT to do or that's how much is done?

Well I'd think it was what HAS been done. Since we've heard all this marvellous stuff about engineering and stuff like that. I doubt that it would be 100% mapping left and 100% scripting left for it, since that would mean he hasn't started it. Na na!

Yeah it is a tad small but there's nothing that can be done about it without making the whole room seem unnecessarily big.

On that note, would the transporter be able to take us places like on VV?

The carpet looks a little like sand. And those drawer handles look a little "daft".

And why is godmode turned on? Traps?

Why is the whole room backwards? I thought when you entered the door, the console was to your right and the transporter is to the left? Why is it all backwards? Or is it a different transporter room?

its not backwards, we usually see the transporter room with the door on the left on tv, but this is a different transporter room, it has the door on the right, there are probably up to 4 transporter rooms on that map.
the problems probably the fact that the access wall on the left is supposed to be bigger and in an alcove, like we see on ST:TNG

I told you before this isn't the transporter room, it's the the transporter chamber part of the transporter control room.

How exactly is that staring you in the face. Unless you pay complete undetailed attention to the panels on the show how on earth are we supposed to guess its the wrong way round! Grrr!

the texture looks messed up, look at the display and look at the top, notice the angles, they don't match the shape of the panel
