I have done all I can do, I now need to upload the files to a server. Where I need about 30MB space. There I can upload all my .map files so the other mapper can get them. So Dobberman is it possible for me to get more space. Also where can i get a FTP program that works all the time?

you could create 3 geocities websites (15 mb per site, only use 10mb on each site) and split the files between the sites.

ensign_kim , did you get the PM I sent

Man, if my server was up I could easily give you 30MB, even more if you needed it. But it's still down.

As for an FTP program, I like SmartFTP. Can't remember where I got it, but probably download.com or something like that.

I use a non-complete (but fully payed for) version of WS_FTP Pro, when I formated I lost half its functionality.

If it goes up, then is taken down after the people he wants to get it actually get it (eg effiles, us, whoever), then he could take it down, when its not needed any more or effiles put it up.

Do you know what I mean?

Yeah I know, it was an example of what you could do (put it up, someone gets it, its taken down, another put up)

Dobberman, complaining of space, how much room does this take up:
http://www.efmods.com/~raven/ ?

It seems to be a big waste of space now and its just the old inactive forums that everyone used to post at, but only a few of the posts. Why not delete it? You'd get back a considerable amount of space I'd think.

(BTW I found the above link browsing around the old forums. http://www2.ravensoft.com/ubb/Forum19/HTML/006492.html . And I noticed Dobberman's post with a link).

I've just ordered 100MB of space from Valcato.net

Finally gave up on Cyberwings. The CEO is broke, sold his car, and lives with his parents now. Valcato is a good UK-based company, with servers in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Friend of mine has his site there. Hopefully it'll be set up within the next week.

what are you going to put on it
besides the stuff you had on that other server, also, tell me the web address of the columbia deck plans after you add them to that site so I can add them to the columbia ship status topic

All the pictures for the Virtual Game will be put up there, as well as whatever else I feel like putting up. Anything that is already on effiles won't be put back up. Deck plans for the Columbia will be the ones without crew quarter assignments, just so you know. I'll decide what to do with the rest of the space when I actually have access to it.

just to answer your question Simmo, I had forgotten about that and it doesn't take up much space anyway. I didn't include it when I was considering how much space I had left so it doesn't make a differance.
