What about them? they're real, so there are some moral issues

Useful for 'replicating' vital organs and such, but we can't completely clone people exactly, like memories and stuff, can we?

No, we can't clone memories... yet. We simply don't know how. But, cloning the physical parts of people would be pretty easy (and we all know somebody out theres done it) the only problem with cloning is that the clone wouldn't be the same age as the actual person. the "clone" would have the same genetic makeup as the DNA donor but , he/she would have to be born. Meaning the "clone" would be a child.

I fully support the cloning of organs and animal. In fact when cloning first came out there was some ideas that rich people could have clones made of themselves and then have the clones put in to a deep sleep. So that the afformentioned rich person could have a slew of organs to replace his.

What Commander Luke said is everything that comes to my mind as well, so I won't bother repeating it.

Carlos, if you want to clone yourself to take lots of jobs ( What ever! ) why don't you start by getting a job for yourself? (rhetorical question)

No, the Manhein affect is from star-trek. but it doesn't matter because its not real anyway.

(Maybe Kim should start a topic about temporal distortions etc.)

Yeah, I sort of figured that. People who use newsgroups know to keep their mouth shut unless they have something relevant to say.
