The Galaxy Class starship:

Largest class in the Federation, at nearly 5 million tons (4,960,000).
641 meters long, or 64.1% of a kilometer.
42 decks.
Typical complement: 1,000+ including family members.

According to the theoretical speculation of the excellent Daystrom Institute Technical Library www.ditl.org, the Enterprise-D has a deck plan of:

SAUCER SECTION
1 Main bridge, main observation lounge, captains ready room.
2 Junior officers quarters
3 Junior officers quarters
4 Main shuttle bay, cargo bays
5 Science laboratories, residential quarters
6 Transporter room 1, 2, 3, 4, science laboratories,

Actually they got that from the ST Encyclopedia, 1st Edition.

I like the bridge, especially after the 2371 refit.

The bridge from All Good Things wasn't the same as the one from Generations.

Actually, Soverign class is larger.

Actually, it's not. Sovereign class is longer, but has less decks. Galaxy-class is by far the largest.

sovereign class decks are bigger thats why it has less decks

It's a common misconception that Sovereign class is bigger. You're not the only one thinks wrong.
