Well, I've been working on the deck plates for CTF_Deralict2 for the EFMods RPG server.

On deck 2, there are 4 quarters.

I have got my quarters on there, and so has Scooter. Now, here's what you have to do.

There are 2 FREE quarters. The two of you who come up with the best reason, will get the quarters on that deck. Any of you who don't make it will have to share the bunking quarters on deck 5 opposite the brig.

So, your task:

Give me the best reason(s) you can think of for getting the quarters on Deck 2. Me and Scooter will judge the reasons, and pick the best.

Only make 1 post. If you want to add something to your reason, go back and edit it.

Post away!

I nearly forgot: The 2 winners will get to personalise their quarters as far as textures can allow!

I think that I should have the quarters across the hall from scooter because If someone starts attacking us then I can get to the bridge very easy. Another thing is that if I get hungry then I can just go to the messhall. I think The people with the highest rank and that are senior officers and who work on the bridge (Not sporto he works in enginnering) should have quarters on deck2. (Simmo, Scooter, Starbase 5, and Manhunter ((Thats me)) ) Grin Grin

I would like quarters on that deck so that i can get to the bridge in a hurry if needed and I'm a senior officer, I out-rank Manhunter and nearly everybody else, and have received commendations from time to time for my piloting skills. (Training Mission, and can't remember elsewhere) Grin

Here's one of the commendations that i remember receiving:

"Good thinking, that should make the trip to the other side a lot quicker and safer."

//Commendation for initiative in navigation//

"When we near the last buoy, scan the area for a large piece of debris."

y isn't it a very good reason?
is it because I can get there a little faster than everyone else?

well then, it doesn't matter which quarters I get on deck 2 as long as there is a bed.

or you could make deck 2 bigger and add more quarters, and the door next to sickbay should be a quarter like the quarters next to brig
I like to call it ctf_deralict2v2

we cant add to it, it was made as big as it could go anyway.

And they are already MY quarters.

And also, since your not even on the Serenity you shouldnt get quarters, but, the "losers" get deck 5 quarters.

Here's a hint from Scooter: everybody can say they need to get somewhere quickly; come up with something more original if you can.

Columbia crew members are not eligible.

Good luck everyone!

Well, I guess the best reason for me getting one of them is that I kinda started the whole RPing thing. Well, I kinda got it in motion and then was trampled by everyone rushing around Na na! . I also need to be able to access Deck 3, since I oversee cargo transfers. (I assume we're going by Serenity positions? I still think we should make another ship, but oh well)

Yes, VG ranks are honored on the VG server, but it's fair game on the RPG server. You can still make another ship for the VGER server if you want. USS Nostromo is fairly popular.

Ok, here are my reasons:

1) Simmo is 1st in command in the VG, Scooter the second, and me the third. Now Simmo and Scooter both have their quarters up there, so perhaps the senior officers should get them (i.e. me Grin )

2) Simmo, you said you'd think about giving me a comendation for my, oh so good posting in the latest mission. Well, here's your chance. Quarters on deck 2 would make a nice comendation. Grin

Go ahead, pick me Wink

Pardon my absense but I haven't been around much and have no idea what Logalots position on the Serenity is or what rank he is. Or have i just been misinterpreting Logalots position and assuming he is in the Virtual Game?

Why would you need quarters on deck 2 when you go to deck 6 to work on the other side of the ship?

On the Serenity, my quarters are on deck 2, though I have to go to the bottom of the ship to work. Anyway, derelict is so small that I could get to engineering in less than a minute.

Reminder: quarters don't have to be close to where you work. Captain Picard's quarters on Ent-D were on Deck 8, and Geordi's quarters were on Deck 2. Come up with better reasons.

But it would make sence that if you go to the other side of the ship for your quarters then you arent making somebody walk so far.

As you can see it is based in moder times not ST times. But I figerd I would show it to you.
