No good for me either. That's 2:30pm to 5:30pm when I'm not home. I think the only convenient time for everyone is on the weekend.

12:00 EST seems to be the standard, as the extremities of time difference are about 5 hours, and the time is good for everyone(Usually) But that's only on weekends. Scooter is in charge of the server, so talk to him.

As a matter of fact, my Dad is upgrading the computers at his office. The computers he has now could probably run EF, and they've been appraised at next to nothing, so maybe he can write one off and bring it home and I can stick it in the crawlspace and move the server onto there and keep it running all the time.

But don't get your hopes up too high.

Cool, thats an idea. Is that what clans have when they have a continuous server up? Like the *VGER* one. I dont mean write off a computer and bring it home, but just have one continually on running the server.

Actually lots of people buy a server. for example: the [WDT]Clan Server has been bought from a group of servers in Boston and the people that have the servers give them total access to the elite force part of the server. And these people will take very good care of your server for you.

BUY a server? I never knew you could do that. No wonder they're always dedicated servers then, I thought one person just logged in, made a game, and left it running while everyone else played lol.

Maybe i should use the word rent. Buying sounds like you've got it forever until it burns out its circuits.

I'm following simmo around where ever he posts. Adventually i'll have nothing to say. Na na!

Well, i don't know if any of you know of Barrysworld. But, if this whol "writeoff computer" doesn't work someone that is willing to pay money could "rent" one from them.

I don't really feel like paying for a Barrysworld server. If the write-off computer thing doesn't work, I'll just keep doing it the way I am now.

well......if you guys need a server to hold until you can sort this out my clan leader is willing to "lend" you ours on non match days

Oh BTW if you want to rent a server the best would be descrypt.....my clan uses it......its inexpensive....and........their router uses a t-3 connection so there is NO LAG...even with 20+ people playing disintigration

There really aren't enough RP sessions to justify renting a server.

Eh, Crusader, just a suggestion, but you may want to sign up for an account, that way you could edit your post, instead of having to double post.
