We need to set up an ERP ranking system for when we don't use the Serenity crew list.

We would need to nominate a captain, and then we could decide on other positions. Note that tach depart has ranks too. Say if the Chief of Security is not in a game, the second in command security takes his place. Even if you've already signed up for something, you can still be nominated as captain. The chain of Command officers goes like this:

Captain
First Officer
Head of Security
Head of Ops
Head of Engineering
A dude in a red shirt!

Unless the current commandinf officer tells someone that they have command/bridge. I'm not sure what top sign up for, I'll think about it and post later.

I thought about that, and I figured that helm should be part of the ops department.

Helm part of Ops??? Well, I pick Chief of Ops then, since Mikey chose to move to Engineering.

And Commander Luke, I thought you said there should be a more "experienced" first officer Huh?

I'm gonna go for security. Wah! Hope i made the right choice. After all i hate being in the lower ranks.

Maybe since there are generally two Tactical positions, we could have 2 Security/Tactical people at once? Either that or we could seperate bridge and tactical into 2 departments(If we do, I'll sign up for tactical)

Wish I could see it, my modem has once again decided to torture me, and my internet HALF works this time. But anyway, I was suggesting that we split tactical and security into two seperate departments, with two seperate heads.

On TNG, the tactical console was designed for two people if necessary, but Worf always handled it by himself. So it's not unheard of.

You sometimes saw a second person stood there, but not during main sequences, as the unnamed crewman would spoil the shot of the main characters.

Yes, also in Deralict 2 there two seperate tactical stations, the one behind the captain's char, where tactical tradiotionaly is, and the station to the right of the first tactical one. I know that's tactical because the console says "Tactical/Security" We could have the traditional place be tactical and the one to the right be security.

I think the reason there's two tactical stations on Deralict 2 is because on VOY they don't have tactical in the traditional spot, and James Nukem needed another large LCARS texture. Na na!

After the refit in 2271, it was to the right of the comm station, so I would guess it was to the right of the comm station before the refit as well, but I'm not sure on that.

To skin real people, requires a good head-on photo. If I had one of myself, I probably would skin myself, but alas I don't.

The other thing is, everyone will then know what you look like.

For what it's worth, to make skinning yourself easier, take a picture of yourself head-on standing in front of a solid color background. That way it's easier to separate you from your surroundings.

And if you want me to do it for you, it might take a while depending on what Logalot deems more important. Skins of EFmods members or the other skins he asked me for. (Managed to finish one more while I was taking a break from studying.)

The rank is separate from the head texture, so the rank can be easily changed at anytime afterwards. The collar is part of the head texture though, so you'd have to pick which uniform(s) you want.

Thanks for that info. The only trouble I might have getting that picture of me (if I decide to have a head made) is finding a single colour background to take the picture infront of.

The neck colours vary though, red yellow and green. Although it would be better to make one with all 3 coloured necks, ie team colour support.

But couldnt you make it so that instead of it changing to blue for the blue team the uniform goes green instead.

If you want FC uniform, I only have red, yellow, and blue. I'm not sure if green works in HM. It might work in FFA but probably not THM.

Well the single player ones are green. All you'd have to do is change the neck colour that would be blue for that character from blue to green, and the body that would be blue, to green too.

I didnt put it on the answering machine.

Is this about the Virtual Game or Project: Elite Roleplaying, they're two separate things by the way?
