WTF? It was a good story tonight but ffs, yet again they DID NOT USE THE STARGATE....AT ALL! They had plenty of opertunities, but they decided not to do it. Is it broken or something? I liked the Daniel coming back for this one, that was good. But still...

Didnt see it tonight, had to tape something for my dad :-(

But I'll watch it on the replay this weekend.

How many times have they used the gate this season? Twice I think, one to send Jack to the Tokra (but you never saw him go through I think), and when Teelk (I dunno how to spell it) and Braytak (dunno again) were testing addresses of where the weapon was located, but never went through.

They may as well not call it Stargate any more!

no you saw it when Jack went through, but you didn't see it when they were testing the addresses, they only showed the one that "didn't" work.

Since the U.S. is ahead of you guys in showing the new season, I can say that the not-using-the-stargate problem gets a WHOLE lot worse. You'll see what I mean in 5 episodes.

I don't watch Stargate. Hmm... how could it get worse? The entire episode takes places nowhere near the Stargate complex?

Let's just say something happens that suggests the stargate won't be used too often anymore.

I didnt see again last night I had to get my brother to tape it because of my dad watching the foot ball

I think there running out of ideas thats why there not using the Star Gate any more but this series is not the last because its a To Be Continued on the last episode.

The StarGate what I want to see Again is that 1 where Tilk (dont no how to spell it) and Jack had the same day over and over again and started playing golf frew the Star Gate and that bit with that pie where Jack draw that funny face out of Kethup and Mustered and said something because he was realy Pi$$ed off of doing the same day over and over again LOL!

Yeah that was my favourite episode.

I think they're starting to run out of ideas too, since they cant just go to a planet and find something new, as there have been so many 'guidelines' about what's in the universe already.

I can't remember the exact number, but there's a fixed number of destinations that can be dialed into the stargate. By now they've probably visited them all, and the writers don't know what to do anymore.

There are supposed to be thousands, and they haven't gotten to them all.

I don't know if this is a bad thing, but I have every episode of Stargate aired so far on my hard drive. Grin

You're kidding right? Thats amazing. *Luke wonders how many episodes he's missed, and then decides it would probably take him a week to download all of them.*

*Scooter wishes TIVO was allowed in Canada.*

I don't like Stargate, but I still wish I had a TIVO.

TIVO is this thing they have in the USA. You tell it what shows you like to watch, and it sits there 24/7 taping them so that you can watch them when you're in the mood. A lot of people who have them say they don't even bother watching TV shows when they're actually on anymore.

Bell ExpressVu says you can pause live TV as well with their Personal Video Recorder, but really what it does when you hit pause it starts recording the broadcast signal to the internal hard drive and when you unpause it starts playing back while it keeps recording. My guess would be as soon as you hit a commercial you can move forward and eventually you'll catch up with the broadcast signal again.

I've never heard it called TIVO. It's called Direct TV wherever I've seen it.
