Alright, before i forget to ask this, this question would probably be directed towards SPORTO who does this kinda stuff for a livin. As Far As I Know

Anyway, What cool things can you do with a bottle rocket. If somebody doesn't know what a bottle rocket is, it looks like a mini piece of dynamite on a small stick. Na na!

Well, it depends on what your purpose is for playing with them. I use my "stuff" for movies, which means I use them for backup rockets for my RPG launcher, etc. However, if you're just screwing around, there are other uses.

So which is it? For a purpose or just screwing around?

Ah, well, there are lots of things that you can do. Many that would get the cops called on you. Na na!

Let's see. You could launch one down into a pool or small pond. It'll hit the bottom, explode, and send out a surprisingly strong shockwave. Careful though, cause it could crack the pool. Hmmm, other than that, I can't really think of anything special. When I was back in 7th grade, we used to tape straws to our bikes and put bottle rockets in them. Then we'd ride around shooting them at things while we were riding, like a tank. Grin

Be careful though, they ARE dangerous, I was almost hit in the face with one. That wasn't fun.

hmm nothing you said is what i really want to do. If fact i shouldn't say that because i don't know what i want to do. Anyway the pool is out of the question, and i don't think riding around in the open is really a good thing to do.

Here, it's a class 3 misdemeanor just to have them period, to say nothing about setting them off. That's why I'm VERY careful when I use mine.

It's illegal to set them off on public property, on any day other than Halloween, New Years, and Canada Day.

Maybe YOU can't get your hands on it Na na!

A-bombs are not as easy to make as you think, plus it isn't exactly easy to get your hands on the materials[/quote]

The only hard part is getting a highly radioactive substance, like Uranium or Plutonium.

actually some kid in the US built a nuclear reactor (it killed everyone though......radiation poisioning) in 1997 by using radium paint.

anachist cookbook....baddddddd(tells you how to make everything from caps to plastic explosives to lethal poison) (im the one to talk.........)

as a use for bottle rockets....sometimes it fun to tape one to a old useless action figure....light it......and watch it take off and explode

We did that kind of thing with dry ice (without anything else in it) and we put it in the plastic coke bottle and put the cap on and watched the thing deform and BOOM!

But i think i've told the story before.

But i did think of another way: Put Bottle Rocket bottom in Sling shot (already have) and light the thing... Fire the sling shot it then takes over with the explosives in it. and it basically goes farther. Haven't tried it out yet though. Not really the best thing to do because if you fire it and it turns around it might come back at you LOL! Na na!

Sorry about the week-later bumping, but what I'm going to post fits here, so I thought it best to bump this topic rather than increase the clutter on the board with a new topic.

Anyway, I'm bored right now. It's 1:05 AM, have to get up at 6:30 AM to go to work, but I can't fall asleep. So I decided to clean out my comp. Well guess what I found.

You guys wanted some ideas, here you go! Grin

Dogbert must have done that at school, because only teachers can get dry ice.

I didn't get the dry ice. My teacher got it. (What Scooter said) It took him like half the year to get it because he'd keep forgetting to get it. But once you get the dry ice you can't keep it for that long because even if you put it in your freezer it's still going to melt because this stuff needs EXTREMELY COOL TEMPERATURES. I don't know how cold though. Our teacher had it in the freezer at school because thats the coldest place to slow the reaction rate before it melts completely.
