It's coming along nicely (since I'm still waiting for help with Nostromo). I've posted a new version on both servers. Download it here:
http://www.vmb-ca.com/efmods/10to5.pk3

The warp core is online! Eek!
Added func-button for crew quarters and ready room. (Just walk up to it, don't even need to press spacebar.)
Put a bed in each crew quarters.
Retextured Engineering.

Oooh, lovely. Not to complain at the lovely map but the beds seem a bit small, not only length, but they're nearly stuck to the floor like mats. Maybe you could raise them up just a little bit, such as to the height of the ones in the voyager maps.

However, I like the opening doors with a trigger thing, lovely touch. (Suggestion for future version: make it so that once the door has been open a certain length of time, it closes, as they have to be triggered shut.) Still, a lovely touch to the map I dont think anyone would have suggested. Great idea.

I like the warp core too.

Here are my sugestions
1-take out that transporter pad it makes the ghall look crap
2-get rid of the jeffires tube on the bridge
3-less thicker walls on the holodeck it looks stupid

but the rest seems ok.. good for a beginner.

1. Can't do that. I'm following the bluepritns.
2. See reason for #1.
3. Had to make the two walls thicker because of problems with holodeck mesh. I'm thinking of scrapping the mesh altogether.

well the ship sucks.. I saw make improvments on it as you can...
1 Just dont add that
2 make the tube look more blended in because it looks like a whole section of the wall in a part of the thing
3 try selecting the faces and making the texture the same it would make it not so noticible

1. Nope, following the blueprints.
2. I was planning on doing that eventually.
3. Just did that a few minutes ago.

Looks cool[er] now!

The beds look much better now their taller. Also, I like how the jefferies tube is blened into the wall.

I'd also like to point out a few things ive noticed for future versions since you want to stick to the blueprints:

We need the crawlway/door to get to the escape pod.
The bridge seems way to small, and the wrong shape too (it is just a box at the moment, it actually bends)
We need windows in the quarters too.
Ready room is also the wrong shape.

I realise you probably already knew all of these, since the map is still a while from completion, but I just felt like pointing it out.

Another thing, do you want any textures of consoles for this?

You are one of the two remaining original crew from the first mission, you should know.

Dobberman, Vanhal, Carlos, Kamakazie, Sporto, Simmo: the six original crewmembers of the 10to5. There are only 2 of us left now.

Kamakazie told me he doesnt want to take part any more, and Carlos is just not doing anything at all to do with the Virtual Game, so in other words, he is not taking part, so isnt part of the game.

Ah, yea, that's right. I guess the Columbia is dead now.

LOL, maybe Carlos was running around the Columbia shooting hatches. He accidently shot an exterior hatch and got himself blown out into space. Grin

Sadly it seems that way. Carlos wanted to be put in charge of it, so I did, and look what it left. Carlos didnt take part in it when it was there, Skywalker hardly visits, and sTk (is it you) just joined the ship but it seems it was a bad idea, as nobody else is there Sad

EDIT: LOL yeah, I think your right about the hatch thing

Hehe, yeah those are all going to get done eventually. Thanks for posting the blueprints for everyone else to see. I'd appreciate any textures you could do.

This is all there is of the ship. It IS only small. The blueprints were based on Vanhal's original design. There ARE no other decks, and the bridge still needs more work as Scooter's already said.

Another update to the 10to5 today.
http://www.vmb-ca.com/efmods/10to5.pk3
Windows in the quarters!

Keep in mind the exterior view doesn't correspond to the latest blueprint, so the windows are in a bit of a different configuration. I also decided that places like sickbay and the holodeck won't have curved ceilings, which means either I have to shrink those rooms a bit, or the exterior shape of the ship I weirder than we thought.

EDIT: The reason the exterior view doesn't correspond to the latest blueprint is because I drew it back when the 10to5 had eight quarters and no holodeck.

Download from link above, I don't feel like putting in again.

Hmm something I just noticed about the map, which I hope can be fixed in future versions:

The ready room door, and the door to enter the bridge are right next to each other, and when they would open, they would open right into each other, and would go THROUGH each other in the wall.

LOL! I never even noticed, although according to the blueprint the door should be more forward, so IŽll do that for next weekend.

And I've updated the map of the USS 10to5!

http://www.vmb-ca.com/efmods/10to5.pk3

Unfortunately light is still crap so some of the textures aren't quite as good as they really are. All the latest known bugs have been squashed, and a few minor details have been added. (Thanks to Simmo for the two textures.)

Nice, like the update.

Are you looking in SP when you look at the map, because the lighting is dimmer in SP. I always look at the 10to5 maps in HM, because then the lighting is much better.

I'm loading the 10to5 map in Holomatch. According to my brothers, there's a difference between running in full screen and running in a window.
