Finally I have got my network card installed under Linux, on my computer at school. My desktop is stuck at 640x480 so it looks like rubbish, but now I can come to the forums without having to reboot into Windows.

I've never undestood what people use Linux for. What is it better to do in Linux than you can do in Windows? Or what can Linux do that Windows cant?

If you haven't had any serious problems, you've never done anything serious.

I have another question that i am 75% sure it won't work. Anyway, One of the labs at school only goes to the resolution of 1024 x 768. I want to go higher up to 1152 x 864. I don't think it's possible, but does anybody know if it's possible to get over 1024 x 768 to 1152 x 864 on those piece of shiet computersHuh?

1. You've gone off-topic in the off-topic.
2. It's not down.

And I won't disagree with you that you are stupid.
