Here's my question for the day. I've got lots of func_button's on my 10to5 map. When you walk up to it, it pops out of the wall and the door opens. Is there a way to make it so that it doesn't pop out of the wall? I suspect I'd have to use something other than func_button.

Hmm... maybe we should all get together and write some tutorials.

I had the same problem until I asked Dobber.

If you don't have it set to open in a specific direction, it gets wierded.
To do this push the "N" button whileseleting a single door.

Thats what I said Wink

What I meant was that the doors don't open correctly unless you give them specific instructions on which direction to open towards. Select the door you want to set, and then press "N" on the keyboard. It has a little thing in the bottom left of the screen. It has angles from 45 to 360, it works like a compass, whatever direction you tell it to go to, it'll open in that direction. Get it?

Ah, I understand now. But I already knew about that. I want to have a button that doesn't move in any direction.

Keep increasing the "lip" until its right

If you mean it opens once, and never opens again? to do that set a new line as "key: Wait"
and "value: -1"

Nah, it works just fine, but I don't like the button moving at all. I'd like it to stay right where it is.
