Yep, put some screenshots of the eternal (definately not completed) up on the site, give some comments etc.

(I used a bunch of prefabs from raven to give it a more professional look. IE: the quarters)

-------------------------

First Pic - Quarters: I have a feeling some copy and pasting happened but if not your pretty good at those quarters!

Lighting - 9/10

-------------------------

Second Pic - Shuttle Bay: The rough shape of the shuttles are good (even though thats not the type i would prefer but ya they are good) But the detail needs some work still.

Lighting - 4/10

-------------------------

Third Pic - Engineering: Not bad. Needs more detail here and there (even though you say its incomplete) What about expanding the walkways on the top left and right so that so that you can't stand on top of the console stations.

Lighting - 7/10

-------------------------

I look forward to more screenshots! Grin

Uh, Dogbert, he said he used some of Raven's stuff to make it look more professional.

Looking at those shuttles makes me want to start building prefabs, but that will have to wait until Christmas break.

Engineering: more copy-pasting from Raven. Looks fine.

One more note on copy-pasting... feels too much like Voyager. Would work well for mapping the Serenity, but the Eternal is not of the same era AFAIK. (Which reminds me, I'm thinking of mapping the Serenity bridge after I finish the 10to5.)

The steamrunner class is in the TNG era, very close to the VOY era.

Steamrunner was designed well after Intrepid class.

Actually the steamrunner starships began in 2342 and the Intrepid starships began in 2370 so well before the voy era. So the ship should look similar to a Tng era starship.

Well, It's really not canon, which gives us more design freedom.

The ships were shown in First Contact so I would say they are canon.

Hmm... according to techspecs the Steamrunner class is actually BEFORE Galaxy class. How come we never saw any until First Contact?

Anyways, VOY-style interior is too new. TNG-style interior won't work either because it's a different class. You have to remember, only ships of similar design have similar interiors.
eg) Galaxy and Nebula, Intrepid and Nova

Looks like you should come up with something original set in TNG era.

Noone said anything about me.. Wah!

That engineering was not copied, I made it all myself -but Luke added the consoles on the left and right of it and textured it (I not changing from my JK2 mapping program cause it messes up if I goto EF)

Whoa really nice!

I agree, it looks to VOY style.

Engineering needs a lot more consoles I think.

Love the shuttles, just make sure that console looks right in the final version, I hate it when consoles are misaligned.

*cough* Where's my credit for the wood and brass textures in the holodeck pic? Wink

I put my summary in my last post i thought that if it was your section you would look at that part and try to improve on it. But it is good work.

Actually the Nova class is closer to the Soverign in exterior design.

I dunno about that. They used several of the Voyager sets for the interiors. (And you meant to say interior design, right?)

Actually I meant exterior, but they probably used the Voyager designs because they werea available, the movie sets were probably not easily accesesable.

The liked the interior of the Enterprise-D in "Generations". Looked more grayish like Voyager's interior.

That's because they repainted the TNG sets and replaced the horseshoe with real wood.
